Jennifer brings more than 25+ years of experience working for highly reputable, publicly traded and privately held global technology and entertainment organizations. She has personally led HR operational and transformational efforts for Companies that were start-up, fast growing and supported multiple mergers and acquisitions in both due diligence and integration planning.
As a role up your sleeves and business minded HR leader, Martinez’s approach is highly collaborative and customer service focused when working with her clients to provide solutions and services that tie directly to bottom line results.
Prior to her new role as a Consultant, Martinez worked at Scientific Games Corporation where she led their Corporate HR and Gaming functions as the Global Vice President of Human Resources. Other gaming technology companies she worked and supported through their significant growth years were Konami Gaming, Inc. and Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. in the role of Vice President of Human Resources. Her earlier years started in the hospitality side of gaming where she worked for Caesars Entertainment Corporation (Formerly Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc.). Throughout her tenure at Caesars Entertainment, Martinez worked in all their major divisions including land based, riverboat and Native American gaming properties responsible for pre and post opening Human Resources operations. She is also proud of her supervisory and managerial roles in hotel operations prior to moving into human resources.
Throughout her career, Martinez has been instrumental in helping organizations create a high-performance culture committed to organizational design and development, talent management and succession planning, total rewards strategy and implementation of short and long-term incentive planning. She also has extensive health and welfare program development and risk management experience including safety planning and prevention. Other areas of management include performance management, policy development, labor and employee relations, internal communications and employment branding.
Martinez holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from University of Phoenix and a Master of Science degree in Organization Leadership from Regis University. Martinez was selected as a Great Women in Gaming Winner in 2004. Martinez served as a key member of the Public Relations and Community Relations committee in 2007 and 2008 on the Southern Nevada Human Resources Association Board. She recently served as a Board member for the Southern Nevada Chapter Red Cross for the past 3 years.
Martinez considers herself a down to earth, fun loving, dog lover and mom of (3) wonderful children she adores. During her free time, she enjoys going to the beach with her family.
